Couldn’t figure out how to contact you at Name Nerds. My future sister-in-law is a nurse. During her OB rotation a veteran nurse told her a story. In the late 90’s, there was a new mom who named her daughter Pajama, pronounced, PAH(like pat with no t)-juh-muh. A native-born, native english-speaking American, the new mom explained she had once seen this really beautiful model in Vogue, and when she looked it up, the model’s name was Pajama. The model was wearing “nightclothes”. I was sure the older nurse was pulling Callie’s leg, but sure enough, the story is so legendary in the hospital that they illegally keep a photocopy of the birth certificate in the nurse’s station. I have seen it.
Further, I do volunteer tutoring for homeless kids here in OKC. One of my student’s name is Asshole, uh-SHOLE-uh. I kid you not.

I just read on the name nerd site about middle names and what sounds good with different syllable names and found it really smart and useful. I was going to ask your advice on my naming dilemma, but the namenerd email didn’t work.
